Dono Detained for Alleged Corruption in Campus Construction
jpnn.com, JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) detained the division head of construction VI of PT Adhi Karya Persero, Dono Purwoko, Wednesday (10/11).
Dono is a suspect in corruption in the procurement and implementation of construction work for the Minahasa Institute of Public Administration (IPDN) campus in North Sulawesi during the 2011 fiscal year.
"The investigative team made efforts to forcefully detain the suspect," said KPK deputy for enforcement and execution, Karyoto, at a press conference in South Jakarta, Wednesday (10/11).
Dono is being held at the KPK's Jaya Guntur detention center and will undergo self-isolation for 14 days.
Karyoto explained that the suspect would be detained for 20 days starting November 10 until November 29.
Dono has been a suspect since 2018. He was suspected of participating in the planning for corruption in the IPDN campus construction project that was carried out in 2010.
Dono was assisted by the former head of the data center and information system at the secretariat general of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Dudy Jocom, and the head of the building division of PT Waskita Karya, Adi Wibowo.
Dudy is currently serving a sentence.
The KPK has detained Dono Purwoko, a suspect in corruption in the procurement and implementation of construction work for a public campus.
