"We continue to pursue the 80 percent target," he explained.

Vaccination for rabid dogs can be done at the Agricultural Extension Center and the Buleleng Agriculture Agency Office for free.

The Agriculture Agency, together with the Food and Agriculture Organization, is also trying to apply food bait to stray dogs that are difficult to catch for vaccination.

"These are several methods that have been carried out and evaluated. We hope that there will be no additional cases of rabies in Buleleng," Suparma said. (bulelengkab/wir/mcr20/jpnn)
