Indonesia Masters: Top Badminton Players Arrive in Bali
jpnn.com, BALI - The 2021 Daihatsu Indonesia Masters will be held in less than a week, to be precise on November 16, 2021.
A number of the world's top players will participate in this prestigious event.
A total of 32 of the best badminton players based on BWF rankings will compete against each other at the Indonesia Masters, which has a total prize of US$600,000.
"The Indonesia Masters is a top-level competition that is only followed by top players ranked in the top 32 in the world," said Indonesian Badminton Association (PBSI) chairman Agung Firman Sampurna.
Several foreign badminton players have started to arrive in Indonesia to take part in this Super 750 tournament.
They include Thai mixed doubles player Sapsiree Taerattanachai, as well as a number of Malaysian athletes such as Aaron Chia, Soh Wooi Yik, Goh Sze Fei, and Nur Izzuddin (men's doubles), Chen Tang Jie and Peck Yen Wei (mixed doubles), and Thinaah Muralitharan and Pearly Tan Koong (women's doubles).
Sapsiree Taerattanachai, who has just won the 2021 Hylo Open with her partner Dechapol Puavaranukroh, seemed excited to welcome the 2021 Indonesia Masters.
Through a post on her personal Instagram, the athlete shared that she was coming to Indonesia.
Several foreign badminton players have started to arrive in Indonesia to take part in the 2021 Daihatsu Indonesia Masters.
