Indonesian Badminton Association (PBSI) chairman Agung Firman Sampurna said that the three tournaments would be held at the International Convention Center & Westin Resort, Nusa Dua, Bali.
"Three international tournaments, starting from the Daihatsu Indonesia Masters, SimInvest Indonesia Open, to the BWF World Tour Finals, are awards for Indonesia, which is internationally recognized as the mecca of world badminton," said Agung in a written release.
Agung said he fully supported the three prestigious events because it would be the first time they were held in Indonesia during his leadership at the badminton organization.
Even though it is still in the midst of a pandemic, he was optimistic that the best badminton athletes from all over the world competing in Bali would instead revive the island's economy.
