Jokowi Inaugurates 17 Indonesian Ambassadors
jpnn.com, JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo inaugurated 17 Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassadors to a number of countries.
They were inaugurated by President Jokowi at the State Palace, Jakarta, on Monday (25/10). Health protocols to prevent the spread of COVID-19 were in place.
The appointment is stated in the Decree of the President of Number 127/P, dated October 22, 2021, which was read by the Deputy for Administrative Affairs of the State Secretariat, Nanik Purwanti.
The ambassadors who were sworn in had previously attended health checks.
Some attendees the inauguration ceremony included Bank Indonesia Governor Perry Warjiyo, Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs Mahfud MD, Foreign Minister Retno Marsudi, Finance Minister Sri Mulyani, and Cabinet Secretary Pramono Anung.
The following are the names of the 17 ambassadors:
1. Mochamad Fadjroel Rachman, as the Ambassador to the Republic of Kazakhstan concurrently to the Republic of Tajikistan, based in Nur Sultan;
2. Abdul Aziz Ahmad, as the Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, based in Riyadh;
