Mediation Canceled, Luhut Binsar: Better to Meet in Court
jpnn.com, JAKARTA - The mediation plan for the Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment, Luhut Binsar Panjaitan, and Lokataru director Haris Azhar and KontraS coordinator Fatia Maulidiyanti, has been canceled.
This was because neither Haris Azhar nor Fatia attended the planned meeting at the Jakarta Police Headquarters.
Luhut Binsar, accompanied by his attorney, Juniver Girsang, was present at the headquarters, Monday (15/11) morning.
The retired military general said that the mediation agenda had actually been submitted last week. However, Luhut was unable to attend because he was abroad.
"Actually, I was invited to the mediation last week if I'm not mistaken, but I was abroad," said Luhut.
Luhut emphasized that it was better for them to meet in court.
"I think it's better to meet in court. The important thing is that I have come to the mediation," said Luhut. "There is no need for mediation [again]."
The mediation plan for Luhut Binsar Panjaitan, Haris Azhar, and Fatia Maulidiyanti has been canceled.
