Musk's net worth rose US$24 billion to US$335.1 billion on Monday (1/11).

The Bloomberg Billionaires Index reports Musk's wealth as Tesla shares jumped 8.5 percent in New York.

That widens his wealth gap over Jeff Bezos of Amazon as the richest person in the world to US$143 billion.

Compared to Musk, the chairman of Berkshire Hathaway Inc. Warren Buffett ranks 10th with a net worth of US$104.1 billion.

Not only Musk, a number of names of Tesla shareholders were also splashed by the wealth.
