Doddy Sudrajat Reports Alleged Exploitation of Gala Sky

jpnn.com, JAKARTA - Vanessa Angel's father, Doddy Sudrajat, has reported an alleged exploitation carried out by Vanessa's father-in-law against his grandson, Gala Sky, to the National Commission for Child Protection (Komnas Anak).

Doddy, together with his attorney Ery Kertanegara, visited Komnas Anak's office in East Jakarta on Friday (24/12) to consult about the guardianship of Gala Sky.

Komnas Anak chairman Arist Merdeka Sirait said that both families should take the future of Gala into account when making decisions.

"From a child protection perspective, I would say that Gala should be where he feels more comfortable. Let him grow in that environment," said Arist.

Comfort and security were important for Gala's growth and development, he added.

"People around him, including Pak Doddy and Pak Faisal, should support the child to grow and develop well," said Arist, referring to Vanessa's father-in-law, Faisal.

Arist argued that there was no need to establish a guardianship, so Gala would have the right to choose with whom he would want to live.

After the death of Vanessa Angel and her husband, Febri "Bibi" Andriansyah, families of both sides filed for a guardianship over Gala Sky to the religious court.
