jpnn.com, PARIS - After struggling at the 2021 Denmark Open, a number of Indonesian badminton players will return to fight at another prestigious event, namely the 2021 French Open.

This tournament will take place at Stade Pierre de Coubertin, France, from October 26 to October 31, 2021.

The Badminton World Federation (BWF) has labeled the 2021 French Open as the Super 750 event.

The winners of the 2021 French Open will be rewarded with 11,000 points, the runner-ups 9,350 points, and the semifinalists 7,700 points.

This is certainly useful for boosting their position in the BWF standings table.

This competition provides a total prize of US$600,000.

Unfortunately, Indonesia will not bring all its best players to the tournament.

At least 12 athletes who previously participated in the 2021 Denmark Open will not go to France.
