Indonesia vs Cambodia: Shin Tae Yong Gives Special Instructions
jpnn.com, SINGAPORE - The Indonesian national soccer team will start their journey in the 2020 AFF Cup by competing against Cambodia at Bishan Stadium, Singapore, Thursday (9/12) night.
Victory is the absolute target of the team coach, Shin Tae Yong.
According to the South Korean tactician, Cambodia's performance was quite good when they played against Malaysia in the inaugural match.
The Cambodians were able to steal a goal in the match although in the end they lost 1-3.
However, from his observations, there are still gaps that can be exploited by Indonesia. One thing he will apply is to provide maximum pressing when Cambodia has the ball.
"We will give more pressing to take possession of the ball more than Cambodia," he said.
The 52-year-old coach added that Cambodia was widely praised for being able to show good development. However, Indonesia has prepared itself and will work optimally to get the first three points.
"We will prepare and play harder in order to win," said Shin.
