List of 2021 BWF Awardees: Indonesia Gets Two Prizes

Greysia Polii and Apriyani Rahayu have been named the Pair of the Year by the Badminton World Federation (BWF) / Credit: Humas PP PBSI

Leani, who successfully brought home two gold medals from the 2020 Tokyo Paralympics, was chosen as the Female Para Badminton Player of the Year.

1. BWF Male of the Year - Viktor Axelsen (Denmark)

2. BWF Female of the Year - Tai Tzu Ying (Taiwan)

3. BWF Pair of the Year - Greysia Polii and Apriyani Rahayu (Indonesia)

4. Most Improved Player of the Year - Lee Yang and Wang Chi-Lin (Taiwan)

5. Eddy Choong Most Promising Player - Kunlavut Vitidsarn (Thailand)

6. Male Para Badminton Player of the Year - Qu Zimo (China)

7. Female Para Badminton Player of the Year - Leani Ratri Oktila (Indonesia)
