Ahsan and Hendra, a.k.a The Daddies, successfully advanced to the next round after defeating Christo Popov and Toma Junior Popov from France, with a score of 21-17 and 21-14.
Hafiz and Gloria defeated Indian players Reddy B. Sumeeth and Ashwini Ponnappa, with a score of 21-15 and 21-16.
Indonesia's two singles players also beat their respective opponents. Jojo silenced Sitthikom Thammasin from Thailand with a score of 21-18, 20-22, and 21-17. Shesar defeated Sai Praneeth from India through a three-game battle with a score of 16-21, 21-14, and 22-20. (mcr16/mcr20/jpnn)
