Aya Ohori Grateful for Her Supportive Indonesian Fans
jpnn.com, BALI - Japanese women's singles badminton player Aya Ohori said she was impressed by the friendliness of Indonesian people.
Ohori, who will appear in the Indonesia Badminton Festival (IBF) series from November 16 to December 5, admitted that she received many encouraging words from Indonesian netizens on her personal social media accounts.
The 21-ranked badminton player said she felt honored after receiving supportive messages from Indonesian netizens even though she was not a representative of Indonesia.
"During my time here, my social media accounts have received a lot of messages and support from Indonesian fans," said Ohori at The Westin, Nusa Dua, Monday (15/11).
"The fans in Indonesia really care about me even though I'm not Indonesian. I feel honored and will give my best for the fans," added Aya.
Ohori is set to take part in the 2021 IBF series by competing at the 2021 Indonesia Masters.
