Jokowi Won't Overthrow Sri Mulyani, Observer Says
jpnn.com, JAKARTA - Political observer Ujang Komarudin argued that President Joko Widodo would not dare to overthrow Finance Minister Sri Mulyani from the Indonesia Onward Cabinet.
According to him, Sri is one of the most favored ministers by the number one person in Indonesia.
Previously, People's Consultative Assembly (MPR) deputy chairperson Fadel Muhammad asked Jokowi to remove Sri, arguing she was unethical and had underestimated the MPR.
"Even though the MPR leadership wants Sri to be removed, I'm not sure that it will happen," Ujang told JPNN.com, Wednesday (1/12).
According to him, what was said by the MPR leadership is pointless.
Ujang added some people had long wanted Sri to be replaced but she was still working for Jokowi until today.
