Cigarette Warehouse in Solo Robbed, Security Guard Killed
jpnn.com, SOLO - A cigarette distributor warehouse on Jalan Brigjend Sudiarto, Joyotakan village, Serengan district, Surakarta, has been robbed. A security guard killed, Suripto (35), was killed during the incident.
Members of the Surakarta Police came to the scene of the robbery on Tuesday (16/11).
The police's criminal investigation unit head, Adjutant Commissioner Djohan Andika, said they had questioned nine witnesses, including warehouse employees, supervisors, security members, and residents nearby.
Djohan said they conducted an investigation into the crime scene and tried to find out how the perpetrators had entered and left the warehouse.
"We are also trying to look for CCTVs at other locations to see whether there is a lead to the warehouse," he said, Tuesday (16/11).
The police found that there were a number of doors being damaged, one of which was the one leading to the safe deposit room.

"We are still waiting for the results of the autopsy of the victim from the Dr. Moewardi Hospital. The body has been returned to his home in Hamlet Jaragan, Wonosegoro village, Boyolali regency," said Djohan.
