Two East Lombok Residents Allegedly Two residents
jpnn.com, LOMBOK TIMUR - Two residents of the South Marang hamlet, Kotaraja village, Sikur district, East Lombok regency, West Nusa Tenggara, named Hasbi and M. Kadry Ramadan, are suspected of being the victims of police shootings last Monday (8/11) night.
Both of them were reportedly present to witness H. Alawi's apology at TGH Ajibar's house.
Hasbi was allegedly hit by a rubber bullet in the thigh, while M. Kadry was allegedly shot in the head.
M. Kadary's lawyer, Habib Al Qutbi, said that the incident began with a debate between H. Alawi and TGH Ajibar on social media.
H. Alawi allegedly insulted TGH Ajibar, which sparked the anger of TGH Ajibar's congregation members, who then came to H. Alawi's house. However, H. Alawi was not at home at that time.
After that, the local village administration and the police tried to make peace for both parties.
"H. Alawi then came to TGH Ajibar's house to apologize," said Habib, as reported by Radarlombok.co.id.
Spontaneously, TGH Ajibar's congregation members flocked to his house to witness the apology.
Two residents of East Lombok regency, West Nusa Tenggara, are suspected of being the victims of police shootings.
