Again, Densus 88 Arrests Suspected JI Terrorists
jpnn.com, LAMPUNG - The Special Detachment (Densus) 88 anti-terror team of the National Police has arrested two suspected members of the Jemaah Islamiyah (JI) terrorist group in Lampung.
The Head of the anti-terror operations section of Densus 88, Senior Commissioner Aswin Siregar, confirmed the arrests on Wednesday (3/11).
However, Aswin did not explain in detail the arrests of the two suspected terrorists.
Based on the data obtained, the two suspected terrorists were arrested in the Lampung area, each with the initials DRS (46) and SK (59).
Both were suspected of being involved in the JI organization and the management of the JI-run LAZ BM ABA charity foundation.
One of the arrests followed the case of SU (61), the chairman of LAZ BM ABA, who was arrested on Sunday (31/10) in Bagelen village, Gedong Tataan district, Pesawaran Lampung.
The suspect SK was arrested on Monday (1/11) on Jalan Kesturi Bataranila near his house.
DRS was arrested at his home, Jalan Cendrawasih, Wonokrio village, Pringsewu regency, Lampung.
Densus 88 has arrested two suspected members of the JI terrorist group in Lampung.
