Indonesia Exceeds WHO Vaccination Target

She said that WHO targeted every country to vaccinate at least 10 percent of its population by the end of September 2021.
The WHO has also targeted 40 percent of the world's population to have received the vaccine by the end of 2021 and 70 percent to have been vaccinated by mid-2022.
As of Sunday (14/11) at 6 p.m., Indonesia has injected the first 213.6 million doses to around 130.3 million people, or 62.5 percent of the target.
Then, more than 84.1 million people have received the second dose.
Around 1.19 million health workers, or 81 percent of the specific population, have received the third or booster dose.
"Indonesia has succeeded in achieving [the vaccination target] faster than the WHO's," said Siti, Monday (15/11).
She said that the stock of Covid-19 vaccines in Indonesia as of Saturday (13/11) was 342.5 million doses in finished and bulk forms.
