Covid-19 Cases Increase in Nine Regions in Indonesia
jpnn.com, JAKARTA - The number of Covid-19 cases are reported to have bounced back in nine regions in Indonesia.
The regions are Lampung, West Java, East Java, Banten, Bali, North Sulawesi, Southeast Sulawesi, North Maluku and Papua.
According to the Minister of Communications and Information, Johnny G. Plate, this situation is a warning for all Indonesians.
He asked the people to remain vigilant and disciplined with health protocols, so that a new wave of Covid-19 would not occur.
"The government invites the public to remain vigilant and disciplined," said Johnny, Saturday (7/11).
The minister stated that the increase in nine provinces needed to be handled properly as soon as possible.
He reminded that the increase in Covid-19 cases in European countries like Germany, Croatia, and Slovenia should be a shared lesson.
Likewise, last year's experience when increasing community mobility had also triggered a spike in Covid-19.
