US Needs No Lockdown to Curb Covid-19: White House
The average number of Covid-19 cases in the past seven days in the United States rose 18 percent to 92,800 per day, said US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Director Rochelle Walensky.
According to Walensky, the average number of hospitalized patients in the US rose 6 percent to 5,600 per day, and the average daily death rate was about 1,000 people per day.
In addition, he noted that approximately 47 million eligible US adults and more than 12 million US adolescents were still not fully vaccinated.
