After Suga, BTS Members Jin, RM Test Positive for Covid-19
Jin also underwent self-quarantine upon his return to Korea on December 6.
His PCR test showed a negative result. However, Jin felt flu-like symptoms on Saturday (25/12) afternoon and did a checkup.
"Feeling flu-like symptoms this afternoon, he underwent PCR testing and was found positive for COVID-19 late this evening. He is exhibiting mild symptoms including light fever, and is undergoing self-treatment at home," said BIGHIT Music.
BIGHIT Music confirmed that no other BTS personnel had contact with Jin and RM.
The agency also said that before being exposed to Covid-19, the two BTS personnel had been vaccinated twice.
"Our company will continue to provide support for the rapid recovery of RM and Jin, placing our highest priority on the health and safety of our artists. We will continue to cooperate fully with the requests and guidelines of healthcare authorities," it said. (mcr7/mcr20/jpnn)
