Raisa Collaborates with South Korean Musician Sam Kim
jpnn.com, JAKARTA - Indonesian singer Raisa has collaborated with South Korean musician Sam Kim to release a new song titled "Someday".
Raisa said that this collaboration started from her interest in Sam Kim's works, which were often used in Korean dramas (K-Drama).
"I like Sam Kim's works, that's why I was interested and contacted them. It turned out that Sam Kim was willing to collaborate," Raisa said in Jakarta, Friday (12/11).
Sam Kim, the "Who Are You" singer, was willing to release a song they made together.
Despite the distance between Indonesia and South Korea, Sam Kim and Raisa regularly communicated via video calls.
The two of them and arranger Jukjae worked together to a write song with a slow R&B nuance.
"The recording was done in real-time. Even though we were in different locations, we could discuss and record it live. The results are very satisfying, and I want to thank Raisa for her beautiful voice in this song," said Sam Kim.
According to Raisa, "Someday" tells the story of a couple that cannot convey their feelings to each other properly due to their ego.
