Influencer Rachel Vennya Officially Named Suspect

jpnn.com, JAKARTA - Intagram celebrity Rachel Vennya has officially been named a suspect for escaping quarantine at Wisma Atlet Pademangan, a former athletes village in North Jakarta now housing Covid-19 patients.

"Investigators have filed a case," said Jakarta Police spokesman Senior Commissioner Yusri Yunus to the media, Wednesday (3/11).

Apart from Rachel, 3 other people were also named as suspects.

They were Rachel's boyfriend Salim Naudurer, manager Maulida, and someone who helped them at Soekarno Hatta Airport.

"[We've] determined four suspects," said Yusri.

According to Yusri, Rachel and the three other suspects will be questioned by the Jakarta Police on Monday (8/11).

Previously, Rachel reportedly escaped quarantine upon returning from the United States, although based on regulations, she should stay at Wisma Atlet Pademangan. (ded/mcr20/jpnn)
