'Breakthrough': Jerinx SID Appointed as Anti-Drug Ambassador
jpnn.com, BALI - House Commission III member Wayan Sudirta welcomed the appointment of Superman Is Dead (SID) drummer I Gede Ary Astina, or Jerinx, as an Anti-Drug Ambassador by the Bali National Narcotics Agency (BNN).
"Of course, this is with the hope that Jerinx actively disseminates information about the dangers of drugs, the importance of staying away from drugs, and associations that are indicated as drug dens that should be resisted by the community as well as the BNN and the government," Wayan said in a press statement, Friday (11/5).
Wayan said Bali had 15,000 cases of drug abuse. As many as 70 percent of the cases are those of productive age ranging from 15 to 35 years old.

According to him, millennials' socialization tends to be more free and independent, and they have a perspective and life that imitates an idol or role model.
In fact, he said, the generation did not like formal ways that were considered rigid in explaining the dangers of drugs.
That's why Jerinx had great potential to invite millennials to stay away from drugs through non-formal means, he reasoned.
