College Student Distributes Meth Worth Two Billion Rupiahs
jpnn.com, BALI - A student from Lampung named Medi Sanjaya, or Kimo, was arrested by Bali Narcotics Agency officers for selling one kilogram of meth worth Rp 2 billion.
The suspect was arrested on Wednesday (6/10) at around 1 p.m. local time in a homestay in Bali.
"In total, the destroyed meth weighed 975.8 grams net taken from a student from Lampung named Medi Sanjaya. If it circulated in the community, the selling value was approximately Rp 2 billion," said agency head Brigadier General Gde Sugianyar Dwi Putra, Wednesday (3/11).
He said that from Medi, they confiscated evidence of ten plastic clips containing the meth.
The perpetrator admitted that the narcotics, as well as black digital scales and empty plastic clips, found by the officers belonged to someone he did not know, whom he named "father".
"They only communicated via cellphones and the perpetrator took the meth on orders from the "father" in the trash can near Homestay Renon," said Sugianyar. (antara/mcr20/jpnn)
