jpnn.com, BALI - Indonesian men's doubles badminton players Pramudya Kusumawardana and Jeremiah Erich Yoche Yacob Rambitan failed to beat Takuro Hoki and Yugo Kobayashi from Japan, who won the 2021 Indonesia Masters.

Competing at the Bali International Convention Center, Thursday (25/11), the Indonesian pair lost two straight games with a score of 23-25 and 25-27

After the tight match, the players admitted that the match did not go according to their expectations.

Pramudya and Yeremia appeared in a hurry and lost points at critical points.

"It was a very exciting match. We wanted to win but appeared in a hurry and didn't focus on the final point," said Jeremiah.

In line with Yeremia, Pramudya said that in this match, Hockey and Kobayashi's performance was in its best form after becoming champions at the 2021 Indonesia Masters.

"They were the same as our previous opponents. Their performance was good, so they won," added Pramudya.

The victory over Pramudya and Yeremia brought Hoki and Kobayashi to the top 16 of the 2021 Indonesia Open to challenge Kim Astrup and Anders Skaarup Rasmussen.
