Az-Zikra Foundation Refuses 212 Reunion to Be Held at Their Place
jpnn.com, JAWA BARAT - Chairman of the Az-Zikra Foundation, Khotib Kholil, said that the committee for the 212 grand reunion had received a letter of refusal from the foundation regarding the request that the reunion was to be held at the Az-Zikra Mosque in West Java.
This was because the family of the late Ustaz Arifin Ilham, the owner of Az-Zikra, was still mourning the death of Ustaz Arifin's second son, Muhammad Ameer Adz Zikro on Monday (29/11).
"We have talked to the 212 committee. They accepted this and are looking for alternative places. Not because we don't want to, but we respect the grieving family," said Khotib.
Bogor Police Chief Senior Adjutant Commissioner Harun said that the police would still prepare personnel on standby even though the rejection letter had been issued.
The rejection letter was sent by the family of Ustaz Arifin a response to a request letter from the 212 reunion organizing committee signed by the chairperson Eka Jaya on November 29, 2021.
Eka in his letter submitted a request regarding the for the Fajr prayer in congregation to Zikr and Munajat.
