Said Iqbal: Ridwan Kamil Should Not Be Re-elected
jpnn.com, JAWA BARAT - Thousands of members of worker unions throughout West Java surrounded the office of Governor Ridwan Kamil, Tuesday (30/11).
On the second day of the demonstration, the mass involved trade unions from 27 cities in West Java, including leaders of Indonesian workers.
The President of the Confederation of Indonesian Trade Unions (KSPSI), Said Iqbal, told the workers in his speech not to choose Ridwan as a regional leader again if he did not sign the 2022 minimum wage recommendation.
During the two days the action took place, no representatives of the West Java administration, including Ridwan Kamil, met the workers.
"The West Java Governor has not met the workers. He shouldn't be re-elected," said Said at Gedung Sate, Bandung, Tuesday (30/11).
Tuesday was the deadline for Ridwan to sign the minimum wage recommendation submitted by regents or mayors.
