jpnn.com, JAKARTA - The legal team for land mafia suspect Riri Khasmita went to the West Jakarta Police to examine his client's report against Nirina Zubir's brother, Fadhlan, on suspicion of confinement.
Riri and her husband are suspects in the land mafia case that allegedly caused Nirina's family to lose around Rp 17 billion.
Riri has reported Fadhlan to the Jakarta Police, but the report was forwarded to the West Jakarta Police.
"We are looking for information related to the transfer of our report from the Jakarta Police to the West Jakarta Police," said Riri's attorney, Syahruddin, Wednesday (24/11).
He said that investigators had scheduled an examination of Riri on Thursday (25/11). However, his party must first coordinate with the investigators.
Riri and her husband have been detained at the Jakarta Police detention center.
"So, we need to coordinate how the mechanism works, how the West Jakarta Police can get information from our client," he said.
Another attorney, Putra Kurniadi, said that his client had allegedly been in confinement for a year.
