Nirina Zubir Reacts to Suspected Notary Turning Himself in
jpnn.com, JAKARTA - Actress Nirina Zubir has responsed to the arrest of Edwin Riduan, one of the suspects in her land mafia case.
She expressed her gratitude that he was finally arrested.
"Alhamdulillah [thank God]," wrote Nirina on her Instagram account, Tuesday (23/11).
Edwin was a notary who became one of the suspects in the recent land mafia case.
He turned himself in to the Jakarta Police on Tuesday (23/11).
Edwin previously tried to escape when the police made a forced arrest after he and Ina Rosaina were absent from the summons for questioning as suspects, Monday (22/11).
Arriving at the police station at 12.16 p.m., Edwin was seen wearing a white shirt, accompanied by the chairman of the Association of Land Deed Makers (IPPAT), Hapendi Harahap.
Head of Sub-Directorate of Criminal Investigation Senior Adjutant Commissioner Petrus Silalahi said Edwin surrendered after receiving an appeal from the Jakarta Police.
"Then, through IPPAT chairman Hapendi Harahap, he called us to surrender," said Petrus when contacted.
Apart from Edwin, others suspects have been detained, including Riri Khasmita, Edrianto (Riri's husband), and notary Farida.
