Pontianak Sultana Allegedly Ill-treated, Reports to Police
Nina admitted that she did not want to make a fuss and wanted to come to clarify the basis for Tanaya's coronation.
Tanaya was later discovered to be the Sultan's undocumented wife.
"That's what I wanted to ask. Maybe they were afraid that I would expose that she is not the legal wife of the Sultan," said Nina.
"Some of the palace people then dragged me out. I was treated inappropriately even though I have the right to be at any event," she continued.
Nina admitted that she was beaten by several men and that she was forcibly dragged out. Meanwhile, none of the guests dared to help.
As a result, the victim must receive medical treatment.
The alleged incident of violence against Nina was confirmed by Syarifah Elvina Febriana Alkadrie, her eldest daughter.
"We should have the right to be there, but instead we were expelled," said Elvina.
The wife of Sultan IX of the Kadariah Sultanate of Pontianak is said to have been dragged and ill-treated by a number of individuals.
