Pray for Indra: Janitor Fell Unconscious in LRT Project Area
english.jpnn.com, JAKARTA - A man named Indra (21) had a work accident in the Light Rail Transportation (LRT) project area on Jalan Rasuna Said, Setiabudi, South Jakarta on Thursday (21/10).
Setiabudi Police Chief Commissioner Beddy Suwendi said the victim was a janitor in the project area.
"(The victim) fell down from a height of about eight meters," Beddy told JPNN.com.
Indra was immediately taken to the MMC Kuningan Hospital. Beddy has visited the hospital to see the condition of the victim.
The victim is currently unconscious due to his injuries. He was wearing a helmet and a vest when the accident happened.
"He has been transferred to the ICU from the ER. Regarding his conditions earlier, his heart was still working fine, his breathing was still good, but he hasn't regained consciousness until now," said Beddy.
The police have examined a number of witnesses, including the victim's co-workers.
"Yes, I just ask for prayers. Hopefully the victim can recover soon," said Beddy. (cr1/mcr20/jpnn)
