Posthumous Sons of Two Submarine Soldiers Become Cadets
jpnn.com, MAGELANG - The sons of two soldiers from the KRI Nanggala-402 Submarine Unit, namely Sheeva Naufal Zidane and Fakhrul Ruci, have managed to become cadets of the Naval Academy.
Both of them have completed basic integrative education, which is a partnership between Indonesian Military (TNI) Academy Cadets and Police Academy (Akpol), for 3 months at the Candradimuka Regiment TNI Academy Magelang, Thursday (28/10).
The graduation ceremony for Bhayangkara Taruna involved Military Academy and Police Academy cadets and was led by ceremony inspector commander Air Chief Marshal Hadi Tjahjanto and National Police chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo.
Also present at the event were Navy Chief of Staff Admiral Yudo Margono, Air Force chief of staff Air Chief Marshal Fadjar Prasetyo, and Deputy Lieutenant General Bakti Agus Fadjari, as well as other TNI and police members.
Sheeva and Fakhrul, together with 980 prospective Bhayangkara Taruna soldiers, attended the basic education from August 3 to October 28, 2021.
Sheeva is the posthumous son of First Admiral Harry Setyawan, with mother Winny Waidayanti, born in Surabaya on April 5, 2003.
According to Winny, Sheeva wanted to become a soldier since he was little, and one of his motivators was his father.
"Alhamdulillah [thank God], now we have arrived at his graduation. Please pray that my son will become a TNI soldier who is trustworthy and protected by Allah," said Winny.
The sons of two soldiers from the KRI Nanggala-402 Submarine Unit have managed to become cadets of the Naval Academy.
