Man Dies After Being Abused by Hospital Security Officers
jpnn.com, JAKARTA PUSAT - A man with the initials IK (40) has died after allegedly being abused by security officers at a hospital in Senen, Central Jakarta, on Saturday (23/10).
Central Jakarta Police criminal investigation unit head Commissioner Wisnu Wardana said the victim was initially suspected of being a thief at the hospital.
"On suspicion, he was brought to the security post. Then, he was allgedly abused there," Wisnu said on Wednesday (27/10).
However, the police are still investigating the case and have not named any suspect.
So far, the police have examined eight witnesses in the case.
"We examined approximately eight witnesses from the security depatment, as well as [those working at] the hospital," said Wisnu.

The victim died due to bleeding in the head.
"The perpetrators are suspected to be more than one person. The investigation is still ongoing," Central Jakarta Police spokesman Adjutant Commissioner Sam Suharto said on Tuesday (26/10). (cr1/mcr20/jpnn)
