Sri Mulyani Reveals Good News About State Finances
jpnn.com, JAKARTA - Finance Minister Sri Mulyani shared the good news about the country's finances and economic development on Tuesday (21/12).
She made at least three points. First, the state budget deficit fell to Rp 611 trillion from Rp 885.1 trillion year-on-year (yoy) in November.
"The deficit decreased by 31 percent compared to last year," said Sri in a press conference, Tuesday (21/12).
Meanwhile, the ratio of the state budget deficit to GDP reached 3.63 percent.
"This is an improvement in the health of the state budget that we maintain," she said.
Second, the 2021 state revenues are estimated to exceed the target of Rp 1,743.6 trillion.
According to Sri, the state revenues from January to November 2021 have reached Rp 1,699.4 trillion or 97.5 percent of the target.
"We will experience a positive in terms of state revenues," said Sri.
