Biru Baru, 'Next Generation of Indonesian Music'
After joining JUNI Records, Biru Baru has released the songs "Terbenam" and "Benderang!", launched only a few days ago.
In "Benderang!", Biru Baru used a vocal director to produce their work for the first time. The vocal director, Kamga, helped compose and sort out vocal notes during the recording session.
"Benderang!", which is now available on various digital music platforms, has a festive, bright, and joyful energy, embedded with the sound of a traditional instrument, namely calung, a bamboo tube xylophone.
Its lyrics are intended for a special figure for Biru Baru personnel. "We want to invite our listeners to express their love or gratitude," said Goldan.
JUNI Records CEO Adryanto Pratono recently said that Biru Baru provided something different for the Indonesian music industry, both conceptually and musically.
"For me, Biru Baru is the next generation of Indonesian music. The concept of a duo makes them unique and prominent among new musicians who are now dominated by soloists," said Adryanto. (ded/mcr20/jpnn)
