Rachel Vennya's Case Soon to Be Transferred to High Court
jpnn.com, JAKARTA - Jakarta Police spokesman Senior Commissioner Endra Zulpan has said that the case of Rachel Vennya will soon be handed over to the Banten High Court.
According to him, the police have submitted all the case files requested by the court.
The second stage of the handover process will be carried out no later than the next two days.
"Soon, maybe a day or two," said Zulpan, Friday (26/11).
The Banten High Court is waiting for the Jakarta Police to hand over the suspect and evidence.
The court's legal spokesman, Ivan Siahaan, confirmed that investigators from the Jakarta Police had sent the case files.
After being examined, the case files of the four suspects were declared complete.
Rachel Vennya, and three other people, namely Salim Nauderer, Maulida Khairunnisa, and OP, have been named suspects. Rachel allegedly escaped quarantine at the Wisma Atlet Covid-19 isolation building upon returning from the United States.
The case of Rachel Vennya will soon be handed over to the Banten High Court.
