Vanessa Angel's Driver Admits Playing Phone Before Accident
jpnn.com, JAWA TIMUR - Vanessa Angel's driver, Tubagus Muhammad Joddy, has admitted that he played with his mobile phone before the fatal accident occurred on the Jombang toll road on Thursday (4/11).
A member of the East Java Police traffic sub-directorate, Commissioner Hendry Ferdinand Kennedy, said that the police were still looking into the driver's statement.
"We are still checking [the driver's confession]," said Hendry when contacted by JPNN.com, Sunday (7/10).
Hendry said that Vanessa's driver had been investigated. It was carried out at the Bhayangkara Hospital on Saturday.
Previously, Hendry also said that Vanessa's driver had admitted to playing with his phone before the fatal accident in an interrogation.
Based on this information, the police confiscated his phone and electronic evidence, which are currently being submitted for forensic examination.
