jpnn.com, JAKARTA - A line of musicians, including top Indonesian bands, are ready to enliven the 2021 National Culture Week (PKN), which will be held from November 19 to November 26, 2021.

The Director General of Culture at the Ministry of Education and Culture, Hilmar Farid, said that cultural practitioners, film actors, directors, and perfomers like Slank, God Bless, Fourtwnty, Kikan, Reza Artamevia, Memes, Titi DJ, Intan Soekotjo, Mahalini, Shine of Black, Jason Ranti, Vicky Sianipar, Endah, and Rhesa would attend and enliven the 2021 PKN.

According to Hilmar, organizers have prepared various activities for the upcoming event.

This year's PKN raises the theme "Cerlang Nusantara Pandu Masa Depan" in relation to the greatness of local wisdom in clothing, food, and shelter.

"The three sub-themes are applied to competitions, conferences and workshops, exhibitions, performances, and regional cultural fairs," said Hilmar in Jakarta, Friday (29/10).

Several curatorial board members have been appointed, namely Samuel Wattimena for the clothing sector, Helianti Hilman for the food sector, and Gregory Antar Awal for the shelter sector.

In addition, the event would involve creative artists such as Riri Reza, Pritagita, Hanung Bramantyo, Jay Subyakto, Lasja Susatyo, Ismael Basbeth, Eugene Panji, Robby Ertanto, Buyungreza, Adrianto Sinaga, Leon Lolang, Richard Buntario, and Raymond Ahari.

"We have prepared several activities to be presented in a very attractive way, involving various cultural stakeholders according to the theme," said Hikmar. (esy/mcr20/jpnn)
