Oddie Agam, Indonesia's Singer and Hitmaker, Dies at 68
jpnn.com, JAKARTA - Indonesian musician Oddie Agam passed away on Wednesday (27/10). He was 68.
Prior to his death, Oddie had undergone intensive treatment at a hospital.
Oddie, whose real name was Imran Madjid, was a famous singer and songwriter in Indonesia in the 80s.
He created multiple Indonesian hits, including "Surat Cinta" (Love Letter), "Bahasa Cinta" (Love Language), "Logika" (Logic), and "Tamu Istimewa" (Special Guest), which was popularized by renowned singer Vina Panduwinata.
Oddie, who was born on March 19, 1953, also composed the song "Antar Anyer Dan Jakarta", which was popularized by Sheila Majid.
He was married to Chintami Atmanegara in 1988 and divorced four years later.
