jpnn.com, NUNUKAN - Nunukan Police chief Senior Adjutant Commissioner SA has allegedly abused one of his subordinates in North Kalimantan. The incident was recorded and went viral on social media.
North Kalimantan Police spokesman Commissioner Budi Rachmad said SA had allegedly beaten one of his members, Brigadier SL, on Thursday (21/10).

According to him, Brigadier SL was in charge of the information, communication, and technology section of the Nunukan Police but was not doing the job well.
When there was a network disruption during a zoom meeting, SL was not there, he said.

Budi said that on the day of the incident, SA attended the Bhayangkari Movement Unity Day (HKGB) in a zoom meeting with the National Police and the North Kalimantan Police.
"When there was a zoom meeting network disturbance, (SL) was not present. A call was not picked up," Budi said on Tuesday (26/10).

The North Kalimantan Police profession and security sector investigated the case and found that SL himself circulated the viral video, for which the police said he had violated the code of ethics.
North Kalimantan chief Inspector General Bambang Kristiyono has ordered the dismissal of SA and appointed Senior Adjutant Commissioner Ricky Hadiyanto as the acting chief of the Nunukan Police. (antara/mcr20/jpnn)
