1.4 Million Vehicles Leave Greater Jakarta During Christmas
jpnn.com, JAKARTA - Toll road operator PT Jasa Marga has noted that over 1.4 million vehicles left the Greater Jakarta area from December 17 to December 25.
Jasa Marga's corporate communications and community development group head, Dwimawan Heru, said this was the cumulative number obtained from four main toll gates.
The four toll gates are Cikupa (leading to Merak), Ciawi (leading to Puncak), as well as Cikampek Utama and Kalihurip Utama (leading to Trans Java and Bandung).

"The traffic volume leaving the Greater Jakarta area increased by five percent compared to the normal traffic in November," said Dwimawan, Sunday (26/12).
Fourty six percent of the vehicles headed east, 31.4 percent headed west, and 22.6 percent headed south. (cr1/mcr20/jpnn)
