Jakarta Police to Announce 212 Reunion Permit Status on Thursday
jpnn.com, JAKARTA - The 212 Alumni Brotherhood (PA) has planned to hold a grand reunion at the Arjuna Wijaya Statue on December 2, 2021, near the National Monument (Monas), Central Jakarta.
They have submitted a request for a reunion permit to the Jakarta Police and the provincial government.
Jakarta Police spokesman Senior Commissioner Endra Zulfan said at the Jakarta Police Headquarters, Wednesday (24/11), that the police would announce whether the permission for the 212 reunion would be granted or not on Thursday (25/11).
The middle-ranking officer said the police would explain in detail the decision regarding the permit.
Previously, the 212 PA deputy secretary general, Novel Bamukmin, confirmed they had sent a request for a reunion permit.
Novel said that the 212 reunion would be held at Monas, Central Jakarta. The 212 PA has finalized the preparations, and it is estimated that there will be millions of people attending despite concerns of Covid-19. (cr3/mcr20/jpnn)
