jpnn.com, BALI - Malaysian badminton player Lee Zii Jia has secured a ticket to the semifinals of the 2021 BWF World Tour Finals after sweeping all wins in the group matches.
Competing in the final match of Group B, Lee Zii Jia successfully defeated Kidambi Srikanth from India with a score of 21-9, 21-14.

After the match, the 2021 All England champion said he was satisfied with being able to stem Kidambi's resistance.
Zii Jia said appearing calmer made his performance good.

"It was a very tiring match, I finally won this match. I tried to control my emotions and reduced some mistakes. The strategy worked well today," said Zii Jia at the Bali International Convention Center, Nusa Dua, Friday (3/12).
With this victory, Zii Jia ordained himself as the winner of Group B after winning three matches.

"Now that the semifinal target has been achieved, I hope to be consistent until I enter the final and take the champion title," added Zii Jia.
Zii Jia's performance was very impressive during the 2021 BWF World Tour Finals.
In his first match, the player defeated Kunlavut Vitidsarn from Thailand in two straight games with a score of 21-15 and 21-16.
