Continuing to the last 16, Christiansen and Boje beat the host heroes Praveen Jordan and Melati Daeva Oktavianti in two straight games with a score of 23-21 and 21-14.

The last victims were Hafiz Faizal and Gloria Emanuelle Widjaja. In the match, which took place at the Bali International Convention Center, Friday (26/11), the sixth seed of the 2021 Indonesia Open lost with a score of 21-14, 11-21, and 18-21.

After this, Christiansen and Boje will face Yuta Watanabe and Arisa Higashino.
The third seed from Japan in the previous match defeated the runner-up of the 2021 Indonesia Masters, Tang Chun Man and Tse Ying Suet from Taiwan with a score of 21-17 and 21-8.
"I'm sure they are hard to beat. We are preparing not only physically but also mentally,” said Christiansen.
