Chan Peng Soon, Goh Liu Ying Look for Exotic Sights, Culinary in Bali

jpnn.com, BALI - Malaysian mixed doubles badminton players Chan Peng Soon and Goh Liu Ying are looking to enjoy their time in Bali.

Both admitted that they wanted to visit several places that have beautiful and aesthetic views and look for Balinese culinary specialties.

Goh was excited to find interesting spots on the Island of Gods.

"If there is a chance, I want to visit all the beautiful places in Bali. I want to go there for photos," said Goh when met at The Westin, Friday (12/11).

"I want to try the local food here, what's good?" added Goh.

Goh's partner, Chan, said the same thing.

The 33-year-old man wanted to explore unique places in Bali.

"I also want to travel here. Everyone talks a lot about Bali, and I want to find interesting places here," said Chan.

The world number eight doubles is currently in Bali to participate in a series of tournaments titled the 2021 Indonesian Badminton Festival (IBF).

There are three competitions taking place, namely the 2021 Indonesia Masters (November 16-21), the 2021 Indonesia Open (November 23-28), and the 2021 BWF World Tour Finals (December 1-5).

Chan and Goh will open their battle by appearing at the 2021 Indonesia Masters against Jones Rafly Jansen and Linda Efler from Germany. (mcr16/mcr20/jpnn)
