jpnn.com, MAGELANG - A total of 148 PB Djarum athletes has been taking part in the Yuzu Isotonic Akmil Open tournament, held in Magelang, Central Java, from October 28 to November 7, 2021.
The athletes are deployed in 24 numbers competed.

This number is the highest, followed by PB Jaya Raya Jakarta with 129 athletes.
"That's all the athletes we have," said PB Djarum team manager Fung Permadi in his statement on Wednesday (3/11).

Fung said that the event was to test the ability and mentality of every player in the PB Djarum squad at a time when the championship schedule was uncertain.
In addition, this championship is an evaluation of PB Djarum's coaches, after fostering and going through long training for more than a year.

"The main mission of our participation here is to see the extent of their training results, especially for U13 and U15," he said.
Therefore, said Fung, the main target to be achieved by every athlete in the PB Djarum squad was to show their best performance.
"That's all. Then, we evaluate each athlete's shortcomings," he said.
On the other hand, the lack of championships has made every club that has competed in Magelang blind to the strength of the opponent so that it seems as if they are starting from scratch.
"It is difficult for us to set targets, because we cannot measure the strength of other clubs," Fung added.
Although not applying the target of winning on paper, PB Djarum has set a number of players who have the potential to bring home the championship title.
Of the 24 categories presented in this championship, according to Fung, the big chance is in U19 and U17.
