jpnn.com, MEDAN - A 19-year-old girl identified with the initial F was found dead at her home in Medan Belawan district, Medan, North Sumatra, on Thursday (16/12).
The police arrested two men suspected of killing and raping the girl, who her family said would marry her boyfriend in early 2022.

North Sumatra Police spokesman Senior Commissioner Hadi Wahyudi said that the two perpetrators were J (25) and K (28).
"Yes, both of them have been secured," Hadi told reporters, Friday (31/12), adding that the perpetrators were arrested in different places.

J was arrested in Batu Bara regency, while K was arrested in Serdang Bedagai regency.
"Both have been charged with premeditated murder," said Hadi.

Hadi said the incident began when the perpetrators were committing a robbery at F's house but were caught by the victim.
The perpetrators then strangled F until she was unconscious and eventually died. They also took the victim's cellphone and jewelry.
After that, J raped the girl. Police said J claimed revenge because the victim did not lend him money.
"He was also jealous because the victim wanted to marry someone else," said Hadi. (mcr22/mcr20/jpnn)
