The floods occurred due to the high intensity of rain, accompanied by the tide of sea water, which made river water that should flow into the sea be restrained and overflowed into residential areas.
Based on the report from the National Disaster Mitigation Agency (BNPB) on Sunday (19/12), the three villages hit by the floods were Bukit Raya, Sukaraja, and Sepaku.
