english.jpnn.com, JAKARTA - The Jakarta Disaster Mitigation Agency (BPBD) has noted that as many as 91 neighboorhood units in the capital were flooded, Monday (8/11) morning.
"There are currently 91 neighboorhood units affected, or 0.299 percent of the 30,470 neighboorhood units in Jakarta," wrote the Jakarta BPBD in a release.

As many as 70 neighboorhood units of those affected were located in East Jakarta and 21 others in South Jakarta.
A total of 58 households or 182 individuals were forced to evacuate.

The inundation followed a heavy rainfall, which has been prolific as the year end approaches. As a result, the Ciliwung River overflowed. (cr1/mcr20/jpnn)
